Looking good so far. I sometimes struggle with knowing when beef ribs are done. Are you going for a specific temp - or bend test - or a combination of the two?

Check this out. These are the APL method and take about 3 hours. I do them this way all the time and they are great.

Moose ribs would be too lean. Bear is alright but you have to brine the crap out of it and stew.

Unfortunately, the only way to get upright pics on this forum is to get an Android device. Apple doesn't seem to play well with Vanilla.CANMAN1976 said:Done pulled at 205.Not to bad for first ribs ever on egg eh bye!!!!:)

Beef ribs look great! If the picture is portrait, then it won't play well. Take the pics in landscape (turn phone sideways), and they are fine. You can also edit and rotate a portrait pic in the iphone and it will either be fine...or upside down :P.<edit>...take pics with volume buttons facing down.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

What type of beef ribs are those? Chuck ribs?

HDmstng said:What type of beef ribs are those? Chuck ribs?I think what some refer to as chuck ribs are called English cut short ribs here. I'm still a little confused on that though.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
