Wanted to try the fire brick setup for indirect on my XL so decided to do some boneless sirloin steaks with wow up your cow by the slabs for a rub and steamed veggies with a bit of tree hugger rub by tasty licks . Two fire bricks cutting the the box in half seared both sides then moved over to the cool side to finish to 140 internal . Setup worked great although a bit disappointed in the steaks they had great flavor but a bit to much gristle for my liking. Next is a 13.5 pound overnight brisket on the LBGE for dinner tomorrow night and Monday night ,
Large Big Green Egg , XL Big Green Egg . BBQ Guru, Weber Kettle, Weber Q grill for road trips.
