When my son was 2, he would see a beautiful animal like that, get excited, point, and yell STEAK!!!!!He also knew the other farm animals... Bacon (pork), chops (lamb), and drumsticks (chicken)!Bx - > NJ ->TX!!!All to get cheaper brisket!

I've been told that longhorns aren't particularly tasty. They're described as "pasture art".

Don't know about the beef, but I'd love to have those horns. I make powderhorns. Here are a few of mine.
