Well thanks to Kristi of Necessary Indulgences who put a little twist into the recipe. I cut the peppers in half and used cream cheese, a minced garlic clove, and some S&P. The added ingredient was shrimp. And then wrapped them in good old bacon. Thanks for the inspiration Kristi. I changed it up a bit and went with two shrimp. We had left over burgers, but did the ABT's fresh tonight. We loved the shrimp, nice flavour. You really should try it. 270* indirect for about 90 minutes.. They turned out perfect. Should have made a few more.

Yep these are awesome. Made some the other night after I saw her post.

I too attempted to make them. They tasted awesome , but the bacon stuck to the grill and fell apart. What do you guys think I did wrong?PROUD MEMBER OF THE WHO DAT NATION!!!!! Stuck in Dallas.......

@Alton - I cooked mine with the Plate Setter in indirect for about 45 minutes at 270. I never rotated and with the indirect cook you should not have any issues with sticking. Not sure why the shrimp stay so tender but they do. I really thought they would dry out.
I always oil my grate before cooking anything.

I always do abts at 400 because that is my cooking temperature I use to make bacon in the oven.. I never have issues, nor do I turn them.

Nice - really nice. Like the shrimp idea - mine were too dry, must try again....Thanks for sharing!Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!
