Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
We hope you had a hoppy Easter and are ready to spring into warm weather cooking mode! There’s nothing better than spending time outdoors with the sweet aroma of fresh cooked Ribs. Baseball season is also underway, so it's the perfect time to try out some chicken wing variations! We have Jamaican Jerk, Lemon Pepper, Fired-Up Wings and even a Whiskey Onion and Chicken Steak if wings aren't your thing. Bon appetit!

Big Green Egg headquarters has moved - come visit our new showroom and check out the museum and culinary center too! 3786 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340

Newbie to the BGE

Newbie to the BGE (Christmas Gift) but have been smokin' any and everything I possibly can. Starting small but gradually expanding my horizons. First item smoked were ribs (Teriyaki, Mesquite & Jerk). Next up, Beer Butt Chicken. Lastly, Fired Up Chicken Wings. I have to say, I've been BBQ'ing for years on a charcoal and gas grill. But NEVER have I tasted meat so tender, moist and favored using the BGE. I'm sure there will be times when I'll use the gas grill. But my first choice will be the Big Green Egg!

Awesome. Welcome aboard. Don't take any bets about using your gasser again.

There must be a flood of us noobs on this forum at Christmas time. I've already fired it up 7 times in less than 2 weeks. I hope to do beer can chicken in the next week or so. Easy?

I still use my gasser, for side dishes and keeping stuff warm while I'm cooking other things on the egg. With that being said , once I get a second egg that all might change.
