First Brisket

Today I put my first brisket on my LBGE. I could not get a full packer so I went with an 8 lb flat. I prepped last night with a little yellow mustard, DP Cowlick and this morning topped it off with DP Red Eye Express. It is now on the egg at 225 deg with aple and cherry wood for smoke.

Yeah Baby! Just like FB and yourself , I will attempt my first brisket this holiday season. I have my annual visit to the cartiologist on Jan., 8th so I plan to have it in the stall at the time of my appointment.

That kinda looks to me like the point half of the brisket. If that's the case, it'll be even better.
