clean chiminey

There is creasote build up on the outside of the egg on the chiminey. I tried to clean with Simple Green with no success. I should have cleaned it before I did a clean burn last night as it may have been easier. Any suggestions on what to use?

Hit it with your cleaner and a scrunched up ball of aluminum foil. It will come right off.Mike

Perchloric acid, if you have any laying around, will remove that residue easily. Make sure none of it touches you.
