I am on my phone so I can't search by name/ question. I am an ABT virgin as i jave never cooked them before I have mixed cream cheese and hot Jimmie Dean sausage. I have stuff the peppers and am not using bacon I do not have a raised grid. What temp and how long do I cook them? Thanks in advance for your guidance and wisdom.

I go 375 until bacon is crispy, usually around 45 minutes. Since you are not using bacon, your time will be less.LBGE, Weber OTG w/ Rotisserie, Weber Genesis S-330, Chargriller Duo, AR-15, AK-47

Did you cook the sausage first? I would think it needs to be cooked or you'll end up with a greasy mess.*******Owner of a large and a beloved mini in Philadelphia

Well, I let the temp run away from me. Burnt the tips but once you cut them off they were really good. No pics because they were ugly and once the pics are on the web, there out there forever.

It's all about the journey and what you can learn along the way... Anyway, serves you right for not using bacon! :PLBGE, Weber OTG w/ Rotisserie, Weber Genesis S-330, Chargriller Duo, AR-15, AK-47 -
coastal,
i do mine along with a regular smoke of ribs, butts, Ive found that if i throw them on about 2- 2 1/2 before appetizer time Im good, and at those temps ~240 Ive never had a problem. I also freeze little bags of pulled pork to chop and use for ABTs.

I'm learning that ABT'S are anything you want to put in. Thanks I will try them at that temp. Hopefully I quit burning the tips.
