Fathers day is coming up and my wife wants some ideas about what to get me. After reading I think the Woo2 is on the list since I already have a plate setter. I was thinking a drip pan from ceramicgrillstore.com and I need some tongs. I haven't been able to find a good sturdy set. I think I must have gone through 4 or 5 pairs that are flimsy, not built well or just don't grip. What do you guys out there use?
What else might I be missing? I have the Maverick, cant justify the money to get a DigiQ, and am in the process of getting a cart.

Thermapen.
pizza/baking stone
wok
foodsaver
Fancy rubs and sauces
different lumps
I use tongs made by weber that I got at one of the box stores. I've had them for a few years and they are holding up well.

Pizza stone- check
Foodsaver- check
I use Central Market lump....havent really looked at anything else
I wish there was someplace that I could go get Dizzy Pig rubs close....shipping is killer, doubles the cost.

just ask the forum if anyone knows where to get it near your area. (if you haven't done so already of coarse)

Check out the thermapen-instant read thermo. Bonus points as she will find it quite the cook accessory as well. Great for the hot& fast cooks. A bit pricy but worth it in the short and long run.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

I received my PSWoo2, extender, wok, drip pans (14 and 16 inches), tongs and spider form the ceramic grill store last week. I am extremely happy with all the gear, verry good quality gear. The drip pans are not deep enough to my taste but they are good enough for cooking ribs. For brisket and pork butt, I think I will keep using deep rectangular alluminium foil pans. The quality of the tongs exceeded my expectations and the woo2 is just great. The guy who invented those is smart...____________________Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage. •Niccolo Machiavelli

I just ordered myself the R&B adjustable rig combo. Looking forward to trying it out on Father's Day. Overnight brisket then finish out the cook with a flew slabs of ribs on the top rack. Combine that with watchin a ball game with my boys and you have a pretty good day.

I didnt see the extender on the website? Do you have the spider for the wok?

It is still there, from what I understand they are getting rid of the inventory because it is too expensive to manufacture. I'm glad I could get my hand on one before they are out of stock. It is a really nice piece, I hope it is gonna help for pizza higher in the dome.
If you click on buy now in the Large woo section you will see a list of accessories - woo3 extender large @ 39.99$I do have the spider for the wok, did not use it yet, I just finished seasoning my wok. In my opinion, getting the PSWoo2 + spider is a better option than getting the PSWoo3 (which includes a built in spider)____________________Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage. •Niccolo Machiavelli -
My wife got me a BGE hat and a BGE t-shirt. Recommend them both!

I realize you posted this a while back, but just saw your tongs issue. I recommend rosle tongs like this. These are 12 inch.

I also have 9in. I have had mine a long time with no issues. It is the most used tool in my kitchen.
