I did a full burn this afternoon. I've done a couple before, but not this hot. I got it to about 800 degrees. Once it peaked, it stayed there for about an hour and a half. Since then it has slooowly fallen. We're at about 400 right now.
My Egg has lockjaw. Will it open when it cools? Is my gasket completely gone? I've had my Egg for 15 months and have never experienced any problems with the gasket.
Is it gonna be time for a new one?
Thanks y'all!

Gasket is a gonner. You can try to pull it open or take a puddy knife and try to wedge it in there and pry,it open.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX

It should pull apart the gasket. Yes the gasket is gone.
