I started a 5lb bone in about midnight last night. The meat temp at 10:30am was 192 dropped to 188 at 11:15am. Dome temp has gone from steady 250 all night to 200 now. Lump was filled up to top like of fire ring. Should I take meat off and check lump and re-start fire?
Thanks.

poke something in bottom vent to clean holes in fire grate. maybe a coat hanger with a bend on end.

Thanks. Working on that now. I think the fire grate moved/dropped a bit but I got it back up. Coat hanger pulleda bit to much....
