I don't know how to get it yet, but it looks awesome!
  • Not sure the warranty applies to a platesetter

    Did you paint it?
Salado TX Egg Family: 2 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max (I'm good for now).

I know, I've never seen a plate setter so black...

  • Absolutely not
  • Just let them keep it and get the adjustable rig/spider combo and a stone from CGS....you'll be happier with it.
  • You can use it if you have another cooking grid.  Place one grid on the firering and lay the platesetter on top feet up.

  • Ok , will do. And yes I built the table myself its out of Spanish cedar and the smaller table next to it , the lid comes off and it holds my lump

@Deckchef. Very nice table. The detail under the ceramic feet looks great. Nice touch.

kudos for that table - I love it!   great job.  you look to be some sorta craftsman!
  • I broke my plate setter and used J-B Weld to repair it. It has held up for over a year now.
  • Thanks for all the compliments on the table, my dealer has the pictures and he was going to call the mothership and let me know

They get that black if you never cover them with foil or use drip pans.  Mine is black as coal.

  • They replaced my platesetter, with a crack in it....(along with the base of the egg, the firegrate and the fire ring)

Mine is black too.  If I was to see one not black, I would figure it was new.
