went to pick it up and snapped right in half. had seen a hairline crack for a while and hadn't got worse , so i thought it was ok. guess not !!

Did you paint it?Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Just let them keep it and get the adjustable rig/spider combo and a stone from CGS....you'll be happier with it.

You can use it if you have another cooking grid. Place one grid on the firering and lay the platesetter on top feet up.

Let's us know how it turns out with the dealer. Mine's 1.5 years old and has a hairline across it too!

Ok , will do. And yes I built the table myself its out of Spanish cedar and the smaller table next to it , the lid comes off and it holds my lump

I broke my plate setter and used J-B Weld to repair it. It has held up for over a year now.

They get that black if you never cover them with foil or use drip pans. Mine is black as coal. -

They replaced my platesetter, with a crack in it....(along with the base of the egg, the firegrate and the fire ring)
Just sent them pics. Very impressive warranty service.
And I also dig the table!
