Bulgoki...no bones!
Get your butcher to freeze a piece of sirloin and cut it ultrathin...then marinate it overnight in a mixture of the following:
1/4 cup soy sauce
4 Tbsp sugar
4 Tbsp rice cooking wine
4 Tbsp sesame oil
2 tsp fresh minced garlic
half a cup of fresh green onions
pepper to taste.[p]I bought a piece of flat expanded metal grating to place on top of the grill surface to prevent the thin slices of meat from falling through the grid. Cooked for about 15-20 minutes at 350, turning periodically. Serve with steamed white rice. Truly an awesome eggsperience. I may serve this at Eggfest 2000!

I bet that meat is pretty tender after marinating for almost 20 years.

I’ve enjoyed authentic Bulgogi many times so I’ll have to try Bulgoki sometime...I think I’ll like it.

Just make sure you slice it really thin and then roast it at 350 for 20 min. Don’t try to cook it hot and fast. You can actually just do this in your oven.

Why do so many of the posts from this era have no responses? Am I missing something?

it was a really small clique of members back then that ruled the forum. probably more into actual bbq than the foodie lifestyle from what i remember...natureboys cooks probably changed the forum into todays cook style more than anything
