So pig roast for the main event tomorrow, but we had to eat tonight...
Beef tenderloin.

This was done on a Large BGE.
Piggy wasn't going to fit on an egg, so...

About to turn in, just staying up a bit longer to make sure temps are stable.

That tenderloin looks great! How many were you feeding?
Happy 4th!---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada -
Tenderloin had me drooling. The pig looks great. Never done one and am curious about the strategy of having the splits lined up like rungs on a ladder.Always seeking the high I experienced from my first true BBQ experience.

That hog looks awesome!
I do have a question. I see one probe stuck in his/her ass & one in the shoulder.
What action will you take if one cooks faster than the other??XL BGE, 22" Weber Red Head, Fiesta Gasser .... Peoria,AZ -
Ham is cooking faster than shoulder. I'm watching the shoulder and ignoring the ham now.Durangler said:That hog looks awesome!

+1 This is cool dude !!! I aspire to be like you !!! We use to cook whole hogs on a ground pit when I was growing up, but I was always got too drunk to follow the whole cook !!! I usually came to somewhere about the middle of the meal !!
Today that would be a different story. Hopefully someday I'll get my chance to do it different !!Donnie Dawes - RNNL8 BBQ - Carrollton, KY

@dldawes1 That's too funny. Reminds me of my days when I first started q'ing on my offset stickburner. The thing was so inefficient it had to be babysat and fed constantly. Which meant I was constantly feeding myself beers as well. There were quite a few cooks where I didn't make the finish, lol. Those were the days!
