OT- 72 Hour Korean Short Rib
Options
The Cen-Tex Smoker
Posts: 22,987
Been out if town all week but I threw some short ribs in the SV last Sunday before I left. TFJ pulled them Wednesday night and threw them in the fridge until we decided what to do with them. She's out tonight so I was reading through MCAH for some inspiration and came up with this. It was really easy and very tasty. The short rib was really succulent and tender. The fat had all rendered perfectly and made for a really nice meal. The prep and cook time was 15 minutes (the rice took about 30 but it was unattended). The korean sauce from MCAH is really simple to make and delicious.

Was really good (and really easy). I saved a piece to sear off tomorrow with the Uchiko Fish Caramel Sauce.EggObsessed said:O....M....G!! Get out of here!!!!!!!!!!! That looks AMAZING!!

Brilliant execution. Absolutely beautiful. I've been putzing around about buying MCAH, but I think I'll get it soon.
What temp for the SV?
