Chicken Brining Question

I get to cook a dozen boneless skinless chicken breast tomorrow night. In an effort to save time can I brine them for 2 hours tonight, wash them off and store overnight in a ziplock in the fridge?

Why don't you just brine them overnight?

  • I like @Eggcelsior's response, yes, brine today for a couple hours, rinse and store overnight. I do think chicken can be over brined, overnight is far to long, IMO.
