I know all the southerners will probably have a good time with this, but some interesting new BBQs in case you are in NYC:

They opened a Hill Country BBQ in DC and the reviews were something like "Texas taste, Manhattan prices".

Doesn't this sound like something Stefon from SNL Weekend Update would say right after "this place has everything"? :))

I blame Asian fusion for starting this.

Man, that's worse than the grass fed stuff I can pick up at the farmer's market here. But I guess the extra cost goes to that Asian twist. Mmm... ginger-wasabi brisket.

Of course this is who runs Tex Wasabi's.

EDIT:  I now see that @Cen-Tex said "Guy has this covered," not "this guy has this covered."  Reading comprehension fail on my part.

I don't know whats worse. The poor song structure, the guy "ripping" the tough meat off the rib, or the fake southern accent mixed with a New Yorker accent. This is really an APL establishment?!

I always thought he was kind of a clown with his baseball bat beating up steaks but this is over the top.
