Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors stop by for a quick bite when they smell what you’re cooking!

Given the cult-like behavior that sometimes appears on the forum, I would guess such a trip is a "Bucket List" item for many.  I mean the Hotlanta area also has a few other things to see/do...Coca-Cola-well maybe one :)>-

  • Oh sweet nectar of the gods, That's it, I'm making the pilgrimage! Must go alone, can't take SWMBO with me. It's only a 45 minute trip from my house.

    Thanks for the pictures

do they offer a factory tour or anything like that?  I may be able to convince the wife to go if there is more to it than drooling and spending money.

Not sure about the tour. I speak to the manager pretty frequently and he has never mentioned it. The Eggs are made in Mexico.
