Like @DoubleEgger, I too had a Shun Christmas. My first ones and they are amazingly sharp. The 8" Kiritsuke cuts a tomato like a hot knife through soft butter.1 · -

Probing wonderfully and going to the FTC. 9 hrs and avg. temp of around 190. I had to sneak a little tasting slice of the corner, yummy.2 ·
