1,2,&4 slightly crack the nut loose. just a little bit. should free it up. if number 3 gets too loose the spring gets loose and doesnt hold the dome open1 · -

Pizza in a large is closer to the radiant heat of the dome. Maybe cook a little higher in temp and let it preheat a little longer in the xl2 ·
