Re: Gasket fail
A gasket is not necessary if your egg seals well. I replaced mine with a Cotronics 397. With an XL, i like having a little cushion when the lid closes.1 · -

For the fire to burn it has to have airflow. You can reduce airflow two ways. (1) restrict the airflow into the egg by constricting the bottom vent, or (2) limit the amount of air exiting the egg by…1 ·
