Hello, Just joined the EGGhead forum. Last week my 35 year old Kamado made in Japan with fire clay, finally cracked for the 3rd time. Done. I repaired it several times over the years using Furnace re-tort cement or Kwik-Crete. Wish I had kept a logbook of all the cooks I did with it. Looked at some of the other ceramic smokers out there but just couldn’t convince myself that there is anything better for me than a new Large BGE!
