Food and gadgets look good. You're always up to something different, aren't you.
I started laughing at the pig on the paper towels. Last year we kept finding a few feet of our paper towels strung out across the Coop. Thought it must be the wind. Then one day the whole roll was strung out across the yard. Gotta be the wind.
But then we saw a squirrel nonchalantly stroll up to the roll of paper towels and start rolling 'em off. As soon as it hung up and tore, off he went with one end in his mouth and the other strung out five feet behind him in the wind.
The little tree rat was apparently building his nest with it. The reason we think that is because our neighbor reported a few days later that right after a rain he found this huge soggy pile of paper towels in his yard. He finally figured out that it was a squirrel's nest. We laughed and laughed but I started putting my paper towels in a drawer.

It all looks divine. That pie looks so good that I'm entertaining heading to the grocery store yet tonight. But what I'd really like to know is your recipe for the pepper sauce. My husband loves good pepper sauce on his collards and beans and that is the best looking I've seen in a while. Would you please share?

A blessed day at your house for sure. The pie and the turkey look amazing...where do you find the time to do all of these incredible things? Pickles, peppers, oh my! We used some La Hossa in our chili yesterday - that's some HOT stuff (but we love it). Thanks again for sharing with me, and also for posting these pics!

Thank you.Actually it was an accident.I first made a batch of pepper sauce by stuffing jars full of peppers and pouring boiling vinegar over them.I decided I wanted to take it one step further so I waterbath canned them. When I removed them from the canner they were only about 2/3 full of vinegar, the peppers has absorbed the vinegar.I did not like how they looked so I uncanned them back into my cooking pot and brought to a boil. They turned to pepper mush.I added some fresh whole peppers to the mush and boiled for 5-10 minutes, jarred em up and waterbathed again. 15 mins/quarts,10 mins/pints That's it.
