We had a great fest...Part 1

We arrived on Friday afternoon and got set up in the campground. This little gift was waiting for us from Ginny and Kim. It was a great surprise from such nice friends.
On Friday night, you could claim your spot by writing your name in chalk. Or in this case, by having some fun while deciding what to do for dinner. Never give challk to an egghead who is also deputized!
This was one of the cars in the parking lot of where we ate dinner. I may have to sell my XL and put a down payment on this baby. Imagine a green paint job and an egg painted on the door.
Dinner here on the recommendation of Big'un. It was a homerun
This was the only picture of our food. We did BBQ chicken nachos and jalapeno cornbread (from a jiffy box). Tom, Karen and Teresa at different times jumped in to help. We had a blast hanging with the original NGE'rs and the VA chapter of the NGE group

It was great with us all being able to cook next to each other. The crowds were orderly and with all that space it was a great fest indeed... :laugh:

Hey Crimsongator, are you the guy wearing the Gators hat in front of that Mexican place? I'm a Gator, too and we spoke briefly once or twice Saturday. Great to put a face with the name. I've seen your handle on here for at least a couple of years.
