This is my method for removing the membrane from baby backs. Lots of new people here so I thought I'd post it again. -RP

Thanks for sharing...I've always fougt with membrane removal, this looks easy and effective... -
That is a really great set of pictures. The membrane can be slippery, but with that technique, you are basically pulling on a loop, until one end releases and then you have lots of loose membrane to get ahold of.
I sometime use a table knife, starting on top of a bone in the center of the rack, to get started. -
Doesn't work as well on spares. -RP

Every once in awhile some one posts a gem. This is one of those times. Thanks.

That looks like a great way to do them. I usually do spares and pull the membrane off with a paper towel then trim it St Louis style. Tim

This is timely, I'm cooking BBR's this weekend. Will give your method a try.
Thanks for re-posting the thread.

Rich,
Speaking of gems, I made the famous MBR Tri-tip last night for the family and a couple eggheads that joined us. It was unanimously voted the best Tri-tip any of us had eaten. Thanks for bringing that recipe to the forum. -
Good tip, My Friend.
