Mexican Pizza for Dinner Tonight

Decided to try something different. Used a Boboli Pizza Crust - topped by refried beans, ground meat cooked with taco seasoning (done separately), can of pizza sauce, and mucho jalapenos -- with cheddar and motza on top. One side more "meaty" (mine) than the other (wife's). Cooked at 500 for about 20 minutes. See photos.

Looks good. How was it? I wouldn't mind trying that but use enchilada sauce instead of pizza sauce.

I said to my wife, 'Where do you want to go for our anniversary?' She said, 'I want to go somewhere I've never been before.' I said, 'Try the kitchen.'

It was good, although the Boboli did't crisp up as much as I thought it would. Next time I'll put the pan directly on the plate setter.
Hey, as they say -- "variations authorized!" Sounds good that way too. We use either Hatch red or green chili sauce (home made) when we cook up our Mexican or New Mexican entrees. Had a military tour in New Mexico 20 years ago and we LOVE that food - and the people, terrain, weather, etc. -
Yeah, it's pretty nice out that way. I lived in Tucson, AZ for a couple of years before moving out to the east coast. I haven't seen hatch chili anything out here.

Hey, I'm just down the street from you -- in Waldorf. Got my eggs at the Waldorf Fest -- BGE 9 years ago, and mini two years ago. Have to plan ahead to cook spicy in MD...

That's very true. Do you know of any places that sell good stuff for mexican food?

Retired Army, so we still shop the ol commissary, which is well stocked with Mexican - see you are a former Marine - I still work with Marine EOD guys/gals world-wide.
A few web sites as well:

We're certified "chili-heads," so we're always on the lookout for the hot spices, sauces, etc. -
EOD guys huh? Ever work with the EOD guys from CBIRF? Thanks for the links.
-
All the time. They're in my old schoolhouse at Indian Head. Helped them move up here from Lejeune a few years back. Still carry an ID card...

CBIRF was my last duty station. My first was FAST Co, second 3/2, and last was the birf.
