Teased us a bit last night, but finally produced this morning. Been raining steady for a couple of hours. Man, did we need it!
My dinner for one last night. Chuckeye with just-cut okra and tomatoes. Shoulda used cherry or grape maters, but didn't have them. Grilled them lightly and removed while the okra finished.
TGIF!
Mike

Beautiful food, Mike. And glad to see the tots are still a regular feature.
How's everything going? Any chance we'll see you at Eggtoberfest?

Saw this recipe yesterday in an old Southern Living. Salt and pepper, and oil. Pretty tasty. -

Forget the okra, send us some rain !!!!
Good looking grub, and I really like what I can see of your Austin Stone patio/kitchen area. We're having our garage rebuilt and I'm planning for the outdoor kitchen. Do you have pictures that show more of your area? (our house front is Austin Stone).
Thanks.__________________________________________Dripping Springs, Texas.Just west of Austintatious -

I like it fried and pickeled. Never tried it raw and don't care for it boiled. Think I'll try it on the grill. ThanksDave San Jose, CA The Duke of Loney
