ABT's are hard to beat, but sometimes I make them with chile's that have turned red, alittle different flavor, also I have browned sausage, let it cool and then mix it in with the sour cream. use abot 2:1 ratio, SC to sausage

I do cream cheese mixed with shredded gruyere or swiss and pineapple tidbits with a shrimp in the middle. They are usually first off the plate.

That sounds pretty good

I haven't tried this yet, but I dreamed this up in my sleep and I think it has fantastic potential.
For the insides, put in Maryland Crab Cakes (raw) and cook it. I might do some with and without bacon wrapped around it.
Whatdaya think?

We like goat cheese (got to have the bacon)....Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

throw some corn in it

Just a slight change for mine. For the inside meat, I use Johnsonville Stadium Brats. Cut in half then quartered. They fit nicely in a pepper with some cream cheese.

If there are fifty ways to leave your lover, there are fifty ways to make an ABT.
I always use jalapeno and bacon
Mostly use philly cheese but have varied that as well
Stuff em with what you like
Various rubs as well
Sausage
chicken
pulled pork
brisket
shrimp
crab
etc.
The other day I stuffed some with grilled chicken and a slice of peach - savory, sweet, and a little heat
Pulled pork and crushed pineapple
Slice of tamale
Sausage

I mix taco meat in with the cream cheeese

I am cooking some right now. I always mix garlic with the cream cheese, and today I put some pepperoni in there.
Heres a good one that went over well. Cream cheese mixed with garlic and horseradish, and an oyster. Wrap in bacon and cook as usual. Delicious. -
Blank canvas.Anything you can imagine...pineapple/fruits,exotic cheezes, delimeats, seafood, just go BEZERK!!!
-
I use a very small amount of cream cheese, just to bond the ingredients. I mix together chorizo sausage and a blend of cheeses (Asadero, Monterey Jack and Cheddar).
-
My first try at making them was this past weekend. I browned some chorizo and melted the cream cheese with the meat...scooped it in and refrigerated them before wrapping in bacon...they were super tasty and not even cooked on my egg.

Thanks, Ill try them ALL!!!
