How many bags of Charcoal you use

Wondering how many bags of Charcoal you go through in a week/month? I seem to me at the 1 bag a week as I use the BGE once a day, every day.
Let's say a BGE bag size - 20Lbs or 9.07kg.

I'm the same . 20 pounds, or so, of Ozark Oak a week.

EggNorth,
I use abot two 8Kg bags a week but I usually light the egg when I get home and don't get cooking til later. If you want some of us can get Maple Leaf at a reduced price.

I cook at least 5 x per week and use less than 10 lbs in my large.
-
That's one lump I've always wanted to try, Maple Leaf. I've heard so many good things about it.
-
20 to 25 bags a year....
-
I use about 2 bags per month.
-
I go thru about 60 lbs a month cooking approx four times a week. That's probably a little heavy but I burned my gasket a couple of months ago and have a serious air leak.

Sorry, meant to respond to EggNorth.

Steve,
It is unbelieveable. No sparks, big pieces and a sweet flavour. I have no idea why they stopped exporting. Not like we're short of trees or anything.

10-20 lb a month. I use a lot less now that I have a small.

Do you find Maple Leaf much different then the Big Green Egg Brand in how it burns? I got a bag of each with my Egg and will just start the Maple Leaf bag today.Dave

On my small I could get a 20# bag to last 2 months cooking a couple of times a week. Now that I have a large and use it occasionally, I am burning a bag a month, sometimes more."Bacon tastes gooood, pork chops taste gooood." - Vincent Vega, Pulp Fiction

Large and Medium Eggs and use prolly 10 to 15 lbs. a week total.

EggNorth,
RO is OK but I find it spits a lot using a mapp torch to light and takes longer to get a clean fire (clear or blue smoke). I don't use a lot of smoking woods and find the Maple Leaf gives a nicer flavour. Try it and let me know what you think. I want to try and make a deal on a pallet.

Steve, can you stuff some in a seabag and come to Plano? Beers on me!

I got my Large Egg in mid_June, have cooked on it almost every day and just emptied my 5th 8lbs bag of cowboy lump into it on Sunday.
So I guess that's a little less than an 8lbs bag a week. -
Little Steven,
Have you tried any Basques charcoal? When I bought the second egg, I got a bag of the Basque all natural and I found it to be pretty good.

Tom,
I like the Basques too. Maybe more than ML for the flavour but I can get ML locally without losing an arm and a leg.

Would like to get in on that if possible. Thanks -
I am going to find out how much a pallet or two will be. They delivered to my shop in Brampton once before. People can pick it up at their convinience that way.
