If I were an Egg dealer...

I would:
1) Know my product, and
2) Roll an Egg out in front of the store every Saturday, put some pecan on it, and egg some wings to give away to perspective buyers.
It really is that simple
Every buyer becomes a "marketeer"

Milesofsmiles gets it as well as others that put together Eggfest.
This is not rocket surgery

AGREED!!! I VOLUNTEERED to help my local dealer promote the egg by helping cook stuff at his NEW location. He had a Grand Opening and NEVER fired up an Egg.I'm gonna try to get the dealership from him.He is more interested in selling bent-n-dent Sub Zero Stuff!!! :( :(

Frank we have a great dealer here but he has to do his cooks on weekends or the Health Dept. is all over him. He has to meet all the rules of a restaurant, dual sinks, storage, food certification, etc,,,,, just to give away wings or burgers  Doesn't seem to be statewide but here they are a PITA but he knows his eggs, carries a large stock and takes care of his customers.

I agree. I'm lucky to have a dealer who lets us do demo cooks . It's a lot of fun
I'm thinking of doing "The Chicken" for them this Saturday :P
I have a permit, but have never been asked to show it. Almost time to get it renewed :ermm:

Pat,
Must be somewhat universal with a few local differences - same requirements by the health department at my dealer in Houma.
Maybe throw on a tenderloin every once in a while

We do that with signs for homes for sale.we put em out after 5 on Friday and pick em up before 8 on Monday. They complain but no-one is at work to enforce the rule!!!  :P
-
I'll buy two of them Frank!!

I bought my two Eggs because the Mothership, before they moved to their new location, was cooking lunch on three or four Eggs in front of their store front on Claremont Street in Atlanta. You could find the place from three blocks away just by following your nose. Anyone who could resist that would have to have been "smell-deaf".

I'm with you brother! -RP
-
There you go - and moved them to the best coast
-
A little pizza wouldn't hurt every once in a while

"The Chicken" might be too strong for the crumb snatchers
-
Randy, will "The Chicken" work ok with just legs? I can't afford to be giving away leg quarters!
-
You already have two
-
Agreed Pat, sure would like to move him back to Maine to take care of me & Mainegg. Edna

my dealer has a big green egg restaurant attached to his store!!!
-
Been there and had the pulled pork nachos. George has a mightyfine store and good eats.
-
That's what Ed did that the original store.
-
I did legs at several fests, I hung them in a couple leg holders. I did 24 at a time. -RP
-
But did you 'Chickenize" them?
-
Of course. -RP
-
That would bring me to your store
-
yea i know what you mean. everytime i go into my local dealership i keep waiting on them to show me where the propane tank hooks in.. that is the exact reason i try to support miles of smiles dealership. the only thing you gotta watch about him is his pants.. he wore them to a demo cook in augusta georgia (which is about 2.5 hours from his house)....

but he does run a mean egg
and he runs a pretty good newbie class
happy eggin
