Okay so pulled the ice from the chest about 45 min before dropping the pig on also got the fire ready about one hour before to make sure all was good. I also put a little dry rub all over... Everything I read said you could inject but most do not (I had plently to deal with so I went the no inject method
Xl up to 250 and I lost a bit when I dropped the pig (Porky) on but the Digi Q brought it right back up to 225
about two inches cut out to let him fold over
dry rub all over
good hot fire
a little AJ per richard
porky is on for 12 to 14 hour we will see

How many pounds of porker did you end up getting?
