It is wonderful stuff, I buy it in the really big jar  It is particularly good on butts and shoulders. :P :woohoo:

There was a thread on here just a few days ago of folks singing the praises, go back through and you should be able to find it! -
A little too peppery for my taste. I just bought a 2lb bag of dizzy pig.

great stuff

Spring Chicken uses it on all his pulled pork cooks...BUT..I love Bay Byrons Jubilee Seafood Seasoning...try that too, you'll love it.Judy

I am warming up to it now that I learned how to tame the pepper

Grillmeister suggested mixing it with turbinado sugar for wings. One of my favorite wing recipes. I would not go over 50% turbinado in the ratio, as the wings get a bit sticky......I usually do 2 parts Butt Rub to 1 part T. sugar........
I do the wings super raised grid direct, around 375-400 grid for about one hour.

I tasted Bad Byrons and it does have some heat (pepper) to it. After cooking, does meat have that much heat? You mentioned "taming the pepper". Please explain.
Thanks

Tom,
That's one of the best wing shots I have seen.
Kept trying to pick off the little crisp spots just like it was sitting in front me. Now I have little smuge spots on my LCD screen...
DThank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
That sounds really good. I will try that tomorrow.

I learned to use a little lighter hand on the rub and also the cooking process tames it down rather well, it is sticking you finger in it and then putting it to your tongue that is a no no
Actually I am liking it pretty well now. -
Hi Tom,
Those are some great looking wings and I can't wait to try this one myself.
btw.... I have enjoyed all the nice packages you sent my way this month I should be all fixed up now.

Got to meet Bryon last week and found him to be a very nice guy.
Have used Butt Rub for several years and it is very good.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -
Bought some at Leisure World after the North Carolina Eggfest, it's really good.

Love it, I want to try some Dizzy Dust, but can't break away from the Butt Rub!

Great stuff and if you get a chance, buy their peanuts (or make them yourself I suppose). They sell peanuts flavored with their pork rub, they are freaking good.
