Time may be flying by but it's going in circles. Every pain I have now I've had hundreds of times before. They don't lose intensity either.
But one of these days it will start coming together and I'll be ready for it.

Makes me hurt looking at it too.
Don't worry, I'll still be in the race next year even if I won't be trying to win.

Good to see you up and about! Glad it's getting some better. Soon you'll be checkin' the plumbing just like always. That ain't no chicken leg
-
Glad you are doing well. My mother just had a knee replacement and is doing great!. Get the girls fired up and get back to cooking!!!!
-
Ha... I'm already checking the plumbing day and night. I should'a had 'em put in a stopper. No that wouldn't work. Miss one trip to the porcelain furniture and it wouldn't be long before I popped my cork.

Thanks. My sympathy to your Mom for what she had to go through to get well. It ain't fun.
The Girls are Eggsious to get back to work full-time. They love having fun.

Good to see you back at the helm, my friend. Hope the pain eases soon. I recommend Bourbon.
-
I don't know Leroy. From the looks of that knee, I think you should consider giving up football.
Hope you are on the mend. -
Thank you. And I agree that bourbon would be a good choice for pain remediation, as would rum and a few other elixers designed for multiple purposes. Only my current situation requires that I refrain from non-medical concoctions.

Funny you should mention that. Been thinking the same thing. I suppose I could take up knee-jerking, whatever that is, or go into baking.

Glad you are recovering and hopefully not over working your bride.. -
That's great, Leroy - you'll be back to speed in no time!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

I'll know Tuesday if it is. Meanwhile, the process continues.

And sometime some things just don't need doing.

Ha... but what speed. I've been getting slower every year and I'm not sure how far back I can go with just one knee replacement.

Spring,
Hope you're feeling better and I wish you a speedy recovery. Sorry to hear about the surgery. Hot baths should help relax sore muscles. Although me personally i like popping 1 or 2 extra pain pills with a couple beers to catch a nice buzz but i digress....That'll get your spirits up!!!   -
Looks good to me, and will feel a lot better when those darn staples come out! You'll be high steppin' in no time.
Keep the faith
-
Hey Leroy, I just remembered I had about 200 staples removed in one sitting. :woohoo: That stung! I still had more to come out but they weren't ready yet. You ain't got many so it'll be a breeze. Tim

Thanks for the tips but I can't do any of them yet. Doc said to wait until he took the rivets out before I hot-tubbed, and the meds I'm taking are already trying to do me in, even without rum supplements.

And the swelling goes down. My knee still feels like it could pop anytime.

Good to be back too, if only one fourth of the way. Maybe I can get into another gear this week.
