Regarding O.T. post here

I'm just wanting to express my feelings about the O.T. post on this, our main forum. I for enjoy them and can either open them or not. We also get a lot more exposure on the main board if needing help with something that is important to the one making the post.



Not all of us even look at the O.T. board or not very often. I for one will always look at an O.T. post unless the subject line is something I know I have no interest in or that even if I don't I can't help the person, but if I thought I could you bet your last dollar I would try to help. :)



So, my thanks to all of you that feel free enough and have the need to post O.T. here. ;)

    I'm with you Bob. This forum has never really been just about cooking but cooking on the egg is what brought us here. We care about our friends with problems and celebrate their happiness and along the way help each other with recipes, tips and all things eggrelated. Hell I even know how to eat my corn now if I want to be different. I've made a lot of really good friends here and that would have never happened if this was just a recipe bulletin board.

    BTW - most of us here don't consider an occasional 'girl' pic an OT topic - since they are such big lovers of egg'd food, that makes it VERY relevant ! :woohoo:

    Tweev thinks he has a big following of supporters here, but so far all comments have been in agreement with you. He is hugely in the minority, but his narcissism won't let him see it. :(

    well said bob. ... and always enjoy having your OT stuff here on the main board. . .and while we have fun with you and the girls... .those that don't know the true story behind your relationship with them and what they have done for you and what they mean to you, well, thats their problem and should never keep you from posting your pics and stories about them. . .they are actually true angels of mercy!!!

    You hit the nail on the head, they and their family have been life savers for me being as I moved here not really knowing anyone.

    These people have done their best to see I get back and forth safely and help with anything I need within reason.

    Have been to the OT forum 2x. Summer don't get to hang hear as much as I wish. Agree completly with one exception. There is a LOT of new folks on board now days and I mean A LOT! 98% of all the forum members are prudent enough to not do an OT post except when they think its pretty important to them or to other forum members such as this thread. Its the 2% that post an OT thread every time the wind changes direction that somehow needs to be policed and causes the trouble IMO.

    If you had spent any quality time on this forum you would have known that the OT Forum was NOT Wayne's idea. It was implemented at MY request.

    An experiment most all of us acknowledged has FAILED.

    It is sad when all one has to do in life is stir up crap. The problem with that is, the more you stir, the more you smell like crap.

    One thing I have learned throughout the years of training German Shepherds, no matter how hard your try some animals can not be socialized. I suspect you fall into that category!!
