Thanks, Tom. It was great to see you again. If I knew you were going to take pics I'd have rented a tux! Di and Tweety came by, too. I'm glad you found your grid
-
Tux isn't your style. How much did you cook?

Mike, I cooked the chicky legs, grilled avocados, 2 types of sausages and double chocolate macadamia nut cookies.

Yea, at the end of the day I looked like a big , red, over-stuffed walrus. :woohoo:

As are you, Darian.

Way to go, Steve ! Get a commission on any Egg sales?
I am going to do my first (and the store's first) Egg cooking class tomorrow night. $15.00 per person. I will cook 2" ribeyes using the BGE Sear/dwell technique and also the "TRex" method. I will also demonstrate the advantages of hot-tubbing. Timing all this will prove to be the challenge. I also plan to cook some appetizers and grilled Romaine as a side. The store owner is cooking twice-baked potatoes as well as a pecan pie for dessert. Should be fun !
If it goes well, might make it a monthly or quarterly class. -
Wow, Clark. That sounds great, although a bit daunting. I would probably burn the steaks ,or something, and look like a buffoon. :ermm: :woohoo: No, I didn't get a commission, but they treated me well. Elliotts Hardware is a class outfit, to be sure.
-
Hey - I'm probably going to do just that ! It will definitely be a challenge to get 10 steaks to come out close to the same time using different techniques AND have some not be overcooked !
-
You can do it, Clark. I believe in you.
-
I can't believe we came right in the middle of all that and didn't get any! :( But we left before the cookies were done b/c we wanted to get over to see the American Legion before we started our long journey home! Let me know next time you're cooking and we'll come earlier!
