I have noticed that some of you have actually peppered your BB. Question is did you put a mustard slather on and then the cracked pepper, or did you just put it on and sort of rub it in?

I have done it both ways and usually do not pepper with mustard as the short cooking time leaves a mustard taste as compared to ribs and butts which take longer to cook.
