General Tso\'s and Lamb Chops

I usually cook enough on Sunday for the beginning of the week. It was an unlikely combination, but both were so good I had to have some of each. I also tried to keep things a bit more healthy by not deep frying the chicken. Cooking 15 pieces at a time with less than a tbl of peanut oil worked well.
Lamb had a rub of cumin, paprika, salt and pepper. The sauce was a yogurt, mint, and a small amount of lemon juice. I used the greek yogurt and it was worth the additional $1!!
Chicken was mixed with a "slurry" of corn starch, soy sauce, and egg.
Add a side dish of quinoa and a couple of mojitos and there you are!!
Chops with the rub
Chicken in the slurry
Getting ready for action!
Chicken done (cooked in batches)
Chops finished
Plated and ready to chow!!

Looks wonderful. My youngest daughter is a huge fan of Orange Chicken and General Tso's. Was the sauce something that was bottled or do you have a recipe to share?

I would also like to know if you have a receipe for the sauce for General Tso's. It is one of my favorites.

Matt, really nice cook. I like the fact that you wokked the General Tso chicken without deep frying. It looked very nice, as did the lamb with yogurt and mint suace.
Thanks for sharing, your mojitos were well deserved! -
Here is the recipe I used for the General Tso's.

Sauce was great. I am a chilihead, so I put about 15 Thai chilis in and it was steaming!
Thanks for all of the comments!
