has anyone ever attached an egg to a wall?

I am thinking about building a small table to hold my large egg and attaching it to a wall with a swivel. This way I can swivel it around the corner and out of sight when I am not cooking. Is this crazy?

seems like great idea!.... years ago i mounted a vice on a swing out piece of 8 inch I beam.... this way i could push against the wall when not in use....i left it in the house where i lived when i moved....if you have a welder it should be pretty easy to build... rr
