whole grilled fish help

hey everyone, need some help.

i have a whole black cod (sea trout) that i bought this am straight from a fisherman.

head is still on, it's gutted and ready to go.

Question: should i cook this direct or inderect using placesetter?

i would like crispy skin, but dont want it to burn. thanks
