I'll let you know how it goes. Gawd, you should flogged in public for posting those photos, :silly:The Naked Whiz -
that looks very good, making me hungry for another burger
-
Wow does that look good
-
Is that a cast iron cooking grate?
-
Ross, that's an outrage - posting shameless food smut like that. I'm here at work staring at some turkey slices and a can of Campbells "Soup at Hand" microwavable clam chowder for lunch.
Some nerve you've got there, buddy.... -
Tks Allen

Thanks Whiz, I'm proud to have done it

I'm a fairly new BGE owner (6 months), and to be honest, I didn't know they offered a cast iron grate option. I've been searching the forum ever since I posted my question, and duh!, there are lots of things I now need :woohoo: My local BGE dealer is really a tractor dealership, and I bought the first egg they sold. I knew more than they did. Suffice it to say, a spider rig looks like my next "must have". My wife will be soooo thrilled

Welcome to the cult, keep posting

Looks to be good to be called just a cheeseburger. You need to think of a new name for that.
-
Wow! I'm with Wise One on that beauty. You need to give it the recognition it deserves. Perhaps a name like: The Saintly RIV Collection Of Delicious Ingredients Between Two Slices Of Green Chili Bread...
Or TSRCODIBTSOGCB for short.
You're welcome.

Ross,
That is one loaded burger! Looks great. Are you thinking of replicating the bread recipe? Keep us informed if you do.

Ross, that is a spectacular looking sandwhich and I am sure it tasted even better. You must have used technicolor film! The color absolutely pops in those photos
-
Two questions? 1) Chuck, sirloin or mix? and 2) dome temp?
TIA,
BP -
looks really good - I have a Fresh and Easy about two blocks from my house and have found it to be good.
-
Thanks Rebecca, the Digital Camera helps
Ross -
It was a hamburger mix 85/15 500* dome temp.

Thanks Ray, the bread is the only thing I get there TJS used to have some but they stopped carrying it
Ross -
Ross, have you tried the premade pizza dough balls that they have at Fresh and Easy? I like the wheat one, the premade dough makes mid week pizzas easy. Just yesterday I stopped there and bought a spatch. chicken already rubbed with herbs and lemon. I will cook it on Sat. I think I will look for green chili bread.
-
That is really tasty looking Ross. The addition of that bread adds a different look!!!!
