Where are you located? Have you tried craigslist? every once and a while one shows up on there. The problem is not many people get rid of their eggs (why would they?).
-
You better just go buy a new one. I think everyone that has one uses it religously.
-
You got that RITE!

Might want to try an eggfest for a dealer discounted eggs. They will come with the lifetime warranty.aka marysvilleksegghead

I have an old Weber kettle that I would be willing to paint green and sell to you. I can even have my two sons take a hammer to it so it has some texture.

Check out Craigslist or shop around BGE dealers in your area. When I was shopping for mine, I found prices fluctuated over $100 from dealer to dealer. Also, make sure that the "packages" the dealers are trying to sell are really what you want. Everyone wanted to sell me a package with a nest. Since I was planning on building my own table, the nest would just be collecting dust and taking up space. Good luck.

WishIhadAegg,
I have an XL I don't use. It's lying in pieces at the bottom of a steep hill at the back of my property.
You are welcome to it.

Charleton, is that you? :woohoo:

I'll sell you one of Little Steven's but you'll have to pick it up

No good. They have no temp gauges.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Large Green Egg $769.00 brand new in box mates and nest extra

Good luck! -
We still have a dealer or two that you can get a large for $699. Price is going up soon though. If it already hasn't.
-
I'll sell you my large...for $1,500. You're better off going to an Eggfest, or some type of home expo where a dealer my be running a special. Then you get the lifetime warranty. Haven't had to use it...but I take comfort knowing its there!
-
Buy one officially!
Do not make the same mistake I made. I got mine off of craigslist and yeah I got a sweet deal but everytime there is a storm I pray the egg is fine because no matter how sweet of a deal it was, any damage will not be covered under the BGE warranty
Wait until an eggfest if money is an issue or listen to these people, you will use it all of the time. The extra money you could save by buying used is nice, but the warranty is better. Just wait a bit and save some more cash and buy one new or at an eggfest, trust me. -
How much money you got to spend?
-
C'mon! Mines a good deal....seasoned. Then I could go buy a large and a small. :P

I think this post went dead as soon as someone made up a user name like WishIhadAegg. Must not have anything better to do.

get to an Eggfest near you ASAP

So....I broke down purchased a large BGE last Monday after the overwhelming response to shut up!!! I got it at Firehouse in Allen... Very Sweet deal from what I can tell, $599.
I smoked my first brisket ever for the super bowl and I was up at 3AM throwing it on...One word, FANTABULOUS.
How do I post a picture? -
