ABT's and Moink Balls

Cooked up some ABT's and my first moink balls today. Pretty simple cook but took some time to prep. My wife still favors ABT's over the moink balls and I'm still undecided. Cooked them at 350 to 400 on a raised grid. Dipped the balls in Blues Hog for the finish. Good eats. Enjoy!

Look good to me, now I'm hungry.

How do you make the Moink Balls?? Is it ground beef wrapped in bacon?

R.E.- I see my destiny....I'm doing both of those for the Super Bowl tomorrow. Nice cook!

Some people make their own meatballs but I think most buy pre-cooked meatballs in the frozen section. I bought these at Publix in the frozen foods. I let them set on the counter for a couple hours to somewhat thaw enough to get some rub to stick. Just put whatever rub you want on them and wrap them in bacon and cook at 350 to 400 indirect for around an hour. They are pre cooked so its mostly just cooking them to get the bacon on the outside crispy. When ther done just dip them in sauce and leave them another 5 minutes to warm up the sauce. Good luck!
