Got my first Egg for Christmas and took on the responsibility of cooking a rib roast which turned out awesome. Thanks to all for such a great forum.

Welcome and congrats on your beautiful first post. What temp did you cook at and what internal temp did you pull at? By the way, hope you put the bones back in the egg for beef ribs snack later!canuckland

I checked out the forum and found this link http://www.biggreeneggsperience.com/Standing Rib Roast.html which is what I followed to do my roast. I cooked indirect with a little hickory & apple wood at 225 for about 4 hours. I pulled at about 135 and ran the egg back up to 500 to do a reverse sear. Then in foil and into the cooler to make the 30 minute drive to Mom's house. And yes, I went home with the ribs! :cheer: Thanks to all for the nice comments!
