Stupid Pizza Question

So I did pizzas on the egg last night and have a conundrum.

I pressed out the dough on a metal pizza tray while the pizza stone was heating on the egg.

Covered it with sauce and toppings......and then couldn't figure out how to get the pizza off of the metal tray and onto the hot stone. (kinda sticky, limp, etc)

What am I missing?
