My sons first solo cook.

My son picked all the remaining Jalapenos and he said he wanted to cook them. I asked what he wanted. He said I don't know.
He started chopping up a Jalapeno then he looked in the fridge. He found a tortilla shell and cheese. He chopped up some left over polish sausage and added some bacon bits. Then rolled it up and threw it on the egg for a couple minutes on each side.
Got my adjustable rig yesterday!

He is nine and eats way spicier food than me. He eats swamp venom straight out of the jar. Once we were at a flea market and there was a guy selling salsa with samples. He asked to try some. the guy directed him to the mild, his reply was which was the hottest. The guy explained mild, medium, hot, and running down the street screeming like a girl. He said i'll try that one. The sales man looked at me and i shrugged my shoulders as he took a big scoop. After the first bite he said pretty good can I have another. The guy could not believe it and said he don't even eat that "stuff". I bought a jar and he ate about half that day. I got a text the next day from the wife complaining the salsa is making them late for school. Apparently it burned worst coming out. He did not finish the jar. -

I have a small that my daughter (7) claims is hers. "It is her size." -
We all gotta' start somewhere....And peppers are my friends  !
Good job planting the seed!
I do, however, see another Egg in your future ! -
Get him trained and up to speed early then he can do your cooks in the winter for you.
-
Love it! Both my boys learned how to cook at an early age and it is a good thing I think you need to let "Santa" know about a possible gift for under the tree?? I think mini or a small would be about right

Great Job

The first one is always the toughest. Give him a pat on the back.

Those are my favorites cooks! The ones where you just raid the kitchen and come up with something. That's fantastic that he's thinking that way...creativity!

You must be so proud! I can't wait for my kids to get old enough to cook with me.

When our son was in 3rd grade, we remodeled the kitchen a bit and put the microwave under the counter so he could prepare after school snacks...by the time he was 14, his "Signature Dish" was Beef Wellington.
Never too early to have them help and teach them properly! Sure is fun for all, too -
That is great!!!,I see a mini in your future.
GOOD EATS AND GOOD FRIENDS

He did use gloves. He say me burn my eyes after rubbing them once while making ABT.
