Hi everybody!

I've had my eye on the BGE since the Pachinko house days when I came down to Atlanta to go to college. Finally decided to scratch the itch after 30+ years. I went to my first Eggtoberfest this weekend and came home with an XL.

In the morning, my wife and I walked into the BGE store and when she saw the size of the grill that I had pre-ordered, she gave me one of those "looks" -- half of the wife's communications to me, it seems, are non verbal! She seemed to be asking me: "Why do we need such a monster of a grill? That thing is huge!!!" (we are empty nesters, you see -- and it is just the two of us).

Well, you all did a FINE job of convincing her that I had not gone completely insane. When we were back in the store at the end of the day to pick up a few eggcessories before jumping on the bus to get the truck to pick up my grill --- she was pointing out additional racks and items that I "needed"!!! Somehow we went from "That thing is way too big!", to "Maybe we need more rack space, honey".

Seriously, everybody was very helpful and your passion for the cooking and the tools (the Egg!) was very obvious and significantly helped "the cause" and made me even more excited to get the thing home and fire it up!

First meal was baked potatoes, roasted corn, and ribeye steaks.

Thanks,
Don
