BBB 1st time.....dumb question????

I'm at day six of my wet curing process using Hi Mountain BBB cure, and my dumb question is this.....what should the pork look like? should it be pink? off pink? mine looks weird, almost a grayish red.....is this normal or is my meat bad? I used a fresh natural pork loin and it looked great before the cure so now I'm wondering what it should like after 6 days....any comments are welcomed and appreciated! thx in advance
I just saw the post down below that asked basically the same question, so my apologies to the forum for posting the same question twice without checking the forum first

That sounds about right, the cure is mostly salt and it has been mixing with liquids that have come out of the meat. This changes it from the original color when it went into the bag or plastic pan. I trust you have turned it at least once or twice by now?Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery

Haven't made buckboard bacon but if you scroll down on the posts you'll see one Buckboard Bacon-update. He posted the same question and several people answered. Have a great day.

Michael,
Once in a while I get a yellow 'stain' of sorts on the meat. It is a light mustard look. I could never figure out what that was or what caused it but It didn't seem to hurt anything.
You have some great eats coming your way.
