My new Egg Island.

This is the new Egg Island I am getting from the store I work at part time. We are going to add a Bull Door/Drawer Combo to the the empty spot for extra storage. The storage drawer under the egg is large enough for the platesetter and most of the larger eggcessories. I might cut an umbrella hole in the top too.

This is my current mini egg table. Soon I will be cleaning it up, painting it green, and putting some nice ceramic tile on the top. More pictures to come as the project commences.

Stucco. It has a steel frame with concrete backer board, tile top and stucco. It was made special by Bull BBQ.

Very Nice. You might know already, but I wouldn't set the egg directly on the stucco and backerboard as shown in the display. You will really like the drawer and cabinet, I build my table with them, and can store all of my BGE stuff in one place.

Why would you not put the egg directly on the stucco and backerboard. The board is fireproof, will the stucco be damaged?

I would worry about live ashes potting out. Maybe add a piece of aluminum.

I would just think that you would get some discoloration on the stucco. I like to have a little air space between the bottom of my egg and any surface so that it cools down a little quicker. If I were you, I migh just get the egg feet/shoes and set the egg on top of them on top of the stucco.
