I have a hairline crack in my platesetter. It appears to go all the way through and is just on one side. It doesn't seem to effect anything yet.....but this is only 1 month old. Should I see about getting this warranted?

If so...dealer or Egg direct?

  • Go through you dealer first. Some times they can take care of you on the spot. Chances are he has another one in stock. My experence has taught me to see my dealer often to maintain a good relationship. :)

Dealer. He will probably have it in stock, but even if he doesn't, he can get one delivered. You can pick it up with no shipping charge. If you go thru BGE, they will ship it to your door, but the warrantee does not include the shipping charges.

I'll be getting my replacement CI grate in a couple of days that way.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I called him. He told me to bring it to him and he would swap me......probably a good time to go ahead and buy a CI grid
